Me, my mum and my aunt find this gathering of horses and I can’t really lock eyes on any since my aunt and mum attract them and get along with them despite being fairly chaotic around the horses. Then I lock eyes with this beautiful, thick eye lashed, clean brown horse, it stood infront of me, slow blinking, I moved around and it followed, I felt special and happy that one of the horses liked me. Then when it got close, too close. It turned vicious, its pupils shrunk, its eyes red- almost bulging out, and before I can react it lunges pounces on me and bites my neck. I wake up with the sensation lingering
Dreams can be profoundly symbolic and tend to draw from our subconscious experiences and emotions. Your dream about horses with your mother and aunt provides several notable elements that we can analyze:
Horses as Symbols: Horses are often powerful symbols in dreams, representing freedom, strength, and sometimes untamed passions. The gathering of horses could suggest you're in a place or period of potential and opportunity, where energy and action are in abundance.
Family Dynamics: The presence of your mother and aunt, and their ability to attract the horses despite chaos, could reflect real-life dynamics. They may represent parts of your personality or the reality of familial relationships where you may sometimes feel overshadowed or where their behavior affects your experiences and perceptions.
Connection and Validation: Locking eyes with a particular horse and having it follow you signifies a deep longing for connection and validation. The horse's slow blinking might suggest trust or an emotional bond being formed, which reflects the human desire for recognition and appreciation.
Shift from Trust to Danger: The transformation of the horse from friendly to vicious represents a shift in your perception or a sudden change in a situation. This can symbolize feelings of betrayal, fear of intimacy, or anxieties about something (or someone) turning against you unexpectedly.
Physical Sensation and Waking Up: The physical sensation of being bitten on the neck and waking up with it lingering has significant meaning. The neck, in dream symbology, is often associated with vulnerability, the linkage between mind and body, or communication. This part of the dream may be highlighting a vulnerability you feel in a particular area of your life—perhaps in relationships or personal expression.
Emotional Reflection: The dream might reflect a current emotional state where you are seeking acknowledgment and connection, yet have fears or uncertainties about what lies beneath the surfaces of relationships. There could also be a situation where you're bracing for change or confrontation.
Advice for Waking Life: Consider reflecting on your relationships, especially with family, and any situations where you feel overlooked or vulnerable. It may be beneficial to confront any fears about betrayal or sudden changes and work on building a stronger sense of self-assurance and understanding of the dynamics at play in your daily interactions.
